With active support from business, D/CBA continues to make SE Lincoln, Division and Clinton Streets greener, more interesting, more pedestrian friendly places to eat and shop. Our accomplishments include:

• Celebrating the street and our neighbors with an annual community parade and street fair.
• Softening the effect of our East/West streets by planting over 100 commercial street trees.
• Brightening the walls by adding five large murals.
• Building a kiosk to serve as a local source of information.
• Assisting the people watchers by creating a cob bench, with shade.
• Obtaining funding to rebuild SE Division, a longer and more expensive project than we envisioned.
• Marketing the shops, restaurants, and service businesses in the local media.

As the voice for the business district, we:

• Represent the district to the City.
• Market the district.
• Participate in long-term planning for transportation, traffic, and zoning.
• Provide opportunities for networking.
• Encourage cleanliness in the district.
• Introduce new businesses to the neighborhoods through networking, our web site, and the SE Examiner.
• Promote open relations or dialog between the city, businesses, and neighborhood residents.

Division/Clinton Business Association is a non-profit, volunteer association of merchants and property owners interested in the health and future of the area between SE Lincoln and Powell streets and 12th and 60th. Every business and property owner can be a member.
