As we see the world around us changing, we have an opportunity to mold our district into something spectacular. The restaurants and shops that surround us also define us. We are kind and accepting and different. At the DCBA, we strive to foster those qualities by supporting our member businesses through collaborative events and seasonal promotions.

Division/Clinton considers all businesses, property owners, and others that do business in the SE between 11th and 50th Avenues and Lincoln to Taggart are eligible for membership. DCBA’s mission is to “Enliven the district by attracting new business and new visitors to this vibrant destination for dining, shopping and services; and develop and expand a blossoming creative center for business and recreation.”

Division continues to change as new mixed use buildings replace the warehouses and small shops from 50 years ago  Bus service is being expanded, light rail comes within blocks of the district bioswales are being upgraded, and new businesses settle into new buildings.

Inner Southeast remains a desirable place both to live and operate a business.  Change will continue on both Division and Clintons for the foreseeable future.  Meanwhile, the DCBA continues to support our businesses with events, marketing opportunities, and timely communications with the residents in all four abutting neighborhood associations.

Division and Clinton will both remain open for business during redevelopment, construction, and “greening”. Street closures will be kept to a minimum. Tri-Met continues to work on better bus systems and a faster commute to and from downtown.

The DCBA Board meets on the third Tuesday of the month, from 12-1:30 pm. Meetings are open to all members and interested parties — please email dcba.pdx@gmail.com if you are interested in attending. Meetings are held at Seven Corners Community Collaborative, 2475 SE Ladd Ave (20th & Division), in the third-floor conference room.
